Team Rankings turns the first post of a thread into a #1-to-last ranking board for sports teams. Each member puts the teams in order, and the Community rankings table combines everyone's picks into the forum's consensus. Leagues and team logos are set up once in the Admin CP, so starting a new ranking is as simple as picking a league on the Post thread form.
Team Rankings: feature list
Numbered ranking board: teams are ordered #1 to #N under the thread's first post.
Leagues and teams in the Admin CP: set up each league once with its team names and logos, and reuse it in any thread.
Created while posting: pick a league on the Post thread form to add its teams automatically, or type your own list.
Custom images: a thread can give a team its own image in place of the usual league logo.
Rank any way you like:
drag and drop on desktop
press-and-hold on touch screens
arrow buttons
up and down keys for keyboard users
Submit, then auto-save: a member's order stays private until they press Submit my rankings. After that, every change saves instantly.
Community rankings: teams are ordered by average position across all members. Ties go to the team with more first-place votes, then to the team with more votes overall. It updates live.
