Every community has its legends: the members who welcomed newcomers, started the best threads and made
the forum what it is. Hall of Fame gives them a permanent home.
Inductees are shown on a Hall of Fame page, grouped by class year ("Class of 2026") on gold-framed
plaques. Each plaque carries the member's avatar, a category (Member, Staff, Contributor, Honorary, or
your own), how they got in, and their numbers frozen on induction day, so the plaque tells the story of
the member they were when they were honored. Every inductee gets a plaque page with a written citation,
their stats, their classmates and a link to the induction thread.
Once a year, the community decides who joins them. The election runs itself on the dates you set:
- **Nominations:** members nominate someone and say why. The nomination reaches the ballot once other
members second it.
- **Voting:** eligible members tick up to ten candidates on a secret ballot, and can change it until
voting closes.
- **Results:** anyone named on 75% of ballots is inducted, up to the class size you choose. If nobody
reaches 75%, there is no class that year.
Candidates who fall short but get at least 5% stay on the ballot next year, for up to ten years, so
strong candidates build support over time instead of starting from scratch.
When voting closes, you see the full results in the Admin CP with the winners already ticked. Adjust
if you need to, choose each inductee's category and finalize. The new class is inducted, every inductee
gets an alert, and a "Class of 2026" announcement thread can be posted automatically.
Honor doesn't have to wait for an election either: the Veterans Committee lets administrators induct
founders, past staff and friends of the community at any time. Inductees wear a gold "Hall of Fame ·
Class of 2026" badge under their name on every post, member card and profile.
Account-age and post-count rules keep brand-new and duplicate accounts away from the ballot box.
Self-nomination and self-voting are blocked, and ballots are secret.
